I am obviously getting too long in the tooth (pardon the pun). From the piece on vampire:
ReplyDeletethe concept, if not the title, sounds pretty interesting. A sensitive vampire who prefers suicidal women, – but not too sensitive. He’s obviously still killing them. Or giving them a new life... In any case, it’s going to be fabulous to see a new vampire movie out there; not just some re-make, or a book brought to the big screen.
and that isn't the baseline premise of Graveyard Shift?
Though I do agree that it will be fabulous to get another vampire movie and, being Japanese, it ought to have some interesting quirks
Sherlock Holmes: Seance for a Vampire looks promising because it's written by Fred Saberhagen who is the author of the wonderful VLAD TAPES etc...from the synopsis it's a carry on from that story, with Saberhagen's own Dracula! Woot!

The Vlad Tapes is good, but it's the last in the Dracula Series, this Sherlock Holmes Dracula story is actually a re-issue and not the only story featuring Sherlock Holmes:
