Dracula remake poster

Vampire Cafe spotted this, an interview with True Blood's Ryan Kwanten.

Taliesin today reviews 2008 film Bathory

There is a little news from Cannes on the proposed Dracula remake by Dario Argento.

  1. From the looks of the Dario Argento poster, looks like we might get a Dracula in the Frank Langella vein, or something to that effect, which would be awesome!!!

We haven't had a good Dracula film in a few years now (unless you include the latest BBC effort) and us die-hard Dracula fans need a good one.

Classical Vampires are the best kind of vampire, and always will be....

  2. no, i didnt include that one... probably because that dracula was mister teatime on telly 3 weeks earlier!

  3. ah that's Te-a-ti-me, not teatime :p

I hope it'd filmed in Europe with European actors. More importantly if they can film in Romania like the Subspecies films did with Romanian actors, that would be a bonus.

  4. Great poster! Hm, Dario Argento... so bad English dubbing is guaranteed? p Sounds interesting, though, like Black Count said. Hurrah to classic vampire stories!

  5. Hi rosewall... I think we should have a dracula every year, we started with a dracula 2000, why not a dracula 2010, 2011 etc? It could become a great institution, with actors lining up to play dracula each year...
